Meet the Team – Alicia Larson

Last time in our Meet the Team series we featured Cheri Brennhofer. This week we have Alicia Larson! Alicia is our customer service rep for the Western U.S. and has been with us for 13 years now. She started as an engraver with her mother Sandy, then moved into customer service. Alicia is our newest customer service rep, having only been in this position for about 8 years!

Q: Where are you originally from?
A: New Hope, Minnesota

Q: Did you go to college? If so, where?
A: Hennepin Community and Hennepin Tech.

Q: How did you start working at ID Line?
A: Actually, my mom was working here and then I joined her in the engraving department .

Q: What’s your favorite part about what you do?
A: Helping distributors find the right product and hearing that it was a big hit with their customers.

Q: What’s your least favorite part?
A: Finding out that something went wrong with an order.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: Golfing, camping, watching movies, trivia, game night, craft beer tasting

Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?
A: Mexico (or anywhere warm) for the month of February to hold me over until spring returns to Minnesota. Really, it would be Greece, I’ve always wanted to see the Parthenon and have always enjoyed Greek mythology.

Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: Fairway green or sky blue (see first hobby)

Q: If you could give distributors any tips/insight/constructive criticism, what would you give them for working with suppliers?
A: Please try to have a PO # or some other type of reference # when asking for assistance regarding an order via email or over the phone to help speed things along. We may email or speak with you often and know exactly who you are, but until we drink that first pot of coffee we may not always remember your “last badge order” and appreciate any help we can get. Another thing would be when seeking a new item, try to have as much information from your customer as possible, it will help narrow down the numerous choices and find the best fit for them.
